Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring the firearms to you?
No. All appraisals are performed on-site at your location for convenience and security.
How are fees calculated?
Fees are determined case by case. There is a flat on-site/travel fee plus a per-firearm appraisal fee. Non-permanent accessories can be included when appropriate. A clear quote is provided before any work begins.
What does the final appraisal report include?
Reports typically include manufacturer, model, serial number, firearm type, caliber or gauge, barrel length, overall graded condition, appraised fair market value, and relevant notes.
What types of firearms do you appraise?
We specialize in post-1900 production firearms. Certain older or highly specialized items are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Who typically uses your services?
Attorneys, estate executors, individuals involved in divorce proceedings, and clients needing values for insurance scheduling.
How long does the process take?
Most on-site evaluations are completed in a single visit. The formal written report is typically delivered 3-7 days afterward.
Are your appraisals independent?
Yes. We have no financial interest in the firearms being appraised and provide unbiased opinions of value.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the Greater Phoenix, AZ metro area and surrounding communities. Travel to other parts of Arizona can be discussed.
